The house itself is one of the last original Beach quay houses. That of course means that you sometimes can hear the wind from inside and some parts might need to refresh. But after all that is not a problem. It is a fantastic place to stay. All the gadgets you might need are new and in perfect condition. Moreover the fact that a kayak and a stand-up-paddle is included is such an amazing extra. And they even provided beachtowels. We really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely come back.

This BNB is an old-time Kiwi “bach” situated directly across the road from the bay. Nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable and everything works. The house was large enough for five adults with a comfy lounge and tv plus a heat pump for cold evenings.

Couldn’t find a better place for our holiday. Perfect location right at the waterfront. Paddle boards and kayak available. Close to town. Cosy, clean and had everything we needed. The host was super nice and had lots of tips on what is there to explore. The kids absolutely loved their 2 dogs. Highly recommend!

Quaint seaside cottage with three bedrooms (2 x queen, 1 x single). Very well appointed kitchen with new oven and dish drawer. Very clean.
Jacque provided us with lots of helpful information on local attractions and fun activities to do with kids. She and her husband were very welcoming and friendly, and kindly shared some of their home grown fruit and vegetables with us.

Jacque’s place is in an amazing location. You have a beautiful unobstructed view all day long. the Bach includes all the necessary amenities and then some. We used the paddle board and kayak every morning at high tied to explore the water, rusted ship and sand spit!

Great host and a stunning location of this classic old-school Kiwi Bach. Yes, the floorboards are a bit creaky, but we had a great family experience and loved bbq-ing. We are not ‘big light’ people, so a couple of lamps would be welcome. It was a great base to explore Abel Tasman region. The waterfront view was truly amazing.
